Qualquer negócio de retalho que tenha sido inaugurado durante o mesmo mês em que a pandemia da COVID-19 começou, em Março de 2020 – e depois prosperado – pode ser considerado um sucesso.
O Fox Run Cafe, em 3550 E. Colfax Ave., inaugurado em 18 de março de 2020, foi “um sucesso ainda maior” do que seu proprietário Lucien Reichert e sua equipe “poderiam ter imaginado”, postou o restaurante de café da manhã no Instagram em Quinta-feira.
Mas a Fox Run, que recebeu elogios da mídia local desde o início (inclusive do The Denver Post), será encerrada em 21 de outubro.

“É com tristeza, amor e gratidão que anuncio o encerramento da Fox Run. Depois de quase 5 anos servindo esta comunidade incrível, chegou a hora de encerrar este capítulo.
“Esta decisão não foi tomada de ânimo leve e é difícil expressar em palavras a profunda gratidão que sentimos por cada um de vocês que nos apoiou ao longo do caminho. Pretendemos criar um restaurante querido, cuidar dos nossos colaboradores e hóspedes e aprender e crescer o máximo possível através da gestão deste negócio. Com esses objetivos em mente, e mais do que alguns altos e baixos ao longo do caminho, Fox Run foi um sucesso maior do que poderíamos imaginar.
“Haverá mais detalhes, gratidão e amor por vir. Até então, 21 de outubro será nosso último dia de serviço. Por favor, venha comemorar conosco em nosso último mês. Como sempre, estaremos ansiosos para cuidar de você.”
