Os ingressos para a temporada do estado de Norfolk estarão à venda ao público na terça-feira. A compra de um pacote de ingressos para a temporada inclui a entrada em todos os jogos em casa, tanto masculino quanto feminino. Os Spartans vão disputar 25 jogos em casa – 12 masculinos e 13 femininos – quatro a mais que na temporada passada.

Breakers e Night Owls começam bem no MLP Challenger em Virginia Beach
Quase uma semana de competição acirrada nas instalações de Pickleball de Virginia Beach em Birdneck Road começou com a ação da equipe Pickleball Challenger da Major League na quinta e sexta-feira, embora a chuva de sexta-feira tenha forçado atrasos.
O Bay Area Breakers (3-0) e o Las Vegas Night Owls (2-0) dominaram o início do jogo ao ficarem invictos em partidas que incluíram um jogo cada a 25 em duplas masculinas e duplas femininas, além de dois jogos a 25 em duplas mistas.
Jill Braverman, do Breakers, foi a única jogadora a fazer 6 a 0 em jogos até aquele momento.
Talvez o nome mais conhecido entre esses competidores tenha sido Donald Young, que começou 4-2 no Florida Smash. O jogador de 35 anos aposentou-se recentemente do tênis profissional depois de competir no Aberto dos Estados Unidos. Ele alcançou a posição 38 do mundo em simples.
