Kubernetes funciona como um poderoso driver de código aberto ou plataforma de orquestração para contêineres, o que permite aos desenvolvedores atualizar e escalar aplicativos sem problemas.
Como Kubernetes é um código aberto, qualquer pessoa pode acessá-lo em qualquer momento. Se você estiver operando racks de servidores de classe empresarial ou um par de mini PC em um armário de vendas minorista, o Kubernetes pode se adaptar e funcionar sem problemas. Mas para aplicativos que devem funcionar 24 horas por dia, todos os 7 dias por semana, as nuvens privadas oferecem preços mais previsíveis e um custo total de propriedade menor. Além disso, a nova empresa privada oferece maior flexibilidade e menores custos de transferência de dados e conectividade, o que as torna mais rentáveis para movimentar grandes volumes de dados entre diferentes locais.
O paradigma da nuvem é múltiplo para quedar, impulsionado pela necessidade de flexibilidade, otimização de custos e rendimento. Durante a pandemia, muitas organizações foram pressionadas a recorrer às nuvens públicas devido a necessidades imediatas e pressões externas. Mas ficou claro que depender de um único fornecedor não é uma estratégia sustentável ao longo do caminho. As preocupações com os custos, os problemas de latência e a incapacidade de mover cargas de trabalho livremente podem aliviar as limitações de uma abordagem exclusiva para todos.
Ao avaliar cuidadosamente as cargas de trabalho e aprovar as vendas das nuvens públicas e privadas, as empresas podem registrar o melhor rendimento, o menor custo e, em última instância, gerar melhores resultados comerciais. O futuro está nesta abordagem híbrida e multicloud, onde a estratégia correta pode marcar a diferença.
