WASHINGTON – Novos avisos do Departamento de Estado dos EUA alertam que, se você estiver viajando para a Europa, deve ter mais cautela em alguns países por medo de atividades terroristas.
O Departamento de Estado emitiu um alerta na terça-feira, 17 de setembro, para a Dinamarca, alertando que grupos terroristas continuam planejando ataques no país.
“Terroristas podem atacar com pouco ou nenhum aviso, visando locais turísticos, centros de transporte, mercados/shoppings, instalações do governo local, hotéis, clubes, restaurantes, locais de culto, parques, grandes eventos esportivos e culturais, instituições educacionais, aeroportos e outras áreas públicas”, alerta o aviso.
O aviso é um aviso de Nível Dois que exige mais cautela. Os avisos de Nível Três (Reconsiderar Viagem) e Nível Quatro (Não Viaje) são os dois níveis mais sérios.
Este aviso também abrange a Groenlândia e as Ilhas Faroé, ambas parte do reino da Dinamarca.
Esse aviso vem na esteira de um aviso semelhante para viajantes para a Itália. Assim como os avisos sobre a Dinamarca, esse aviso de Nível Dois, emitido na quinta-feira, 12 de setembro, alerta os viajantes sobre possíveis ações terroristas.
“Ataques terroristas são possíveis na Itália. Terroristas podem atacar com pouco ou nenhum aviso”, disse o aviso.
Os avisos para viajantes europeus são o segundo e o terceiro postados desde maio. Foi quando o Departamento de Estado alertou que ataques terroristas na Alemanha eram uma possibilidade.
Os únicos avisos mais sérios emitidos no último ano para viagens europeias foram para países impactados pela guerra na Ucrânia. Avisos de não viajar foram emitidos para Ucrânia (maio de 2023), Belarus (julho de 2023) e Rússia (setembro de 2023) em conexão com os combates.
Se você estiver viajando para qualquer um desses países europeus, o Departamento de Estado recomenda que você tome as seguintes precauções:
- Esteja atento ao seu entorno ao viajar para locais turísticos e locais públicos lotados.
- Siga as instruções das autoridades locais.
- Monitore a mídia local em busca de eventos de última hora e ajuste os planos com base em novas informações.
- Inscreva-se no Programa de Inscrição de Viajantes Inteligentes (STEP) para receber alertas e facilitar sua localização em caso de emergência.
- Revise o Relatório de Segurança do País do Departamento de Estado para os países.
- Visite os Centros de Controle e Prevenção de Doenças on-line para obter as últimas informações sobre saúde em viagens relacionadas à sua viagem.
- Prepare um plano de contingência para situações de emergência. Revise a Lista de Verificação do Viajante do Departamento de Estado.
