Um bom samaritano perspicaz ajudou a salvar um homem autista que pulou de um píer do Brooklyn na Baía da Jamaica.
Um homem autista de 25 anos estava em uma excursão com outros adultos e cuidadores no Píer Canarsie, no Brooklyn, quando se separou do grupo e pulou na água por volta das 10h30 da terça-feira, disseram os policiais.
Um homem de 49 anos que estava próximo e testemunhou o incidente imediatamente pulou na água para salvar o homem mais jovem.
Policiais da Unidade de Serviços de Emergência do Departamento de Polícia de Nova York estavam na área e ajudaram a retirar os dois homens da água.
A dupla foi levada para um hospital próximo e tratada de ferimentos leves.
