Os primeiros eleitores fizeram fila na sexta-feira de manhã do lado de fora dos locais de votação em Hampton Roads para ter a primeira chance de escolher nossa próxima lista de líderes.
Aqueles que querem vencer a correria do Dia da Eleição, 5 de novembro, podem votar antecipadamente até 2 de novembro no cartório geral local. Centenas de pessoas foram vistas esperando na fila em Virginia Beach, e algumas ficaram na fila por cerca de uma hora em Chesapeake, de acordo com postagens nas redes sociais.
O cartório de registro de Norfolk não conseguiu fornecer um número exato de quantas pessoas votaram antecipadamente, mas disse que foram mais de 500.
O clima estava relativamente ameno e parcialmente ensolarado após alguns dias chuvosos para aqueles que tiveram que esperar do lado de fora.
