Manners que os funcionários devem receber salários decentes por seu trabalho — e que a gorjeta é um sistema profano pelo qual os empregadores fogem dessa responsabilidade básica. O fascínio com a forma como a gorjeta é calculada é uma distração — uma maneira do cliente entrar na atividade desagradável de punir os trabalhadores. O sistema que você descreve é um serviço ruim? Claro. Mas o sistema foi criado pelo funcionário que pediu para fazer limpeza e serviço em dobro? Improvável.
