A escalação da semana passada (90,16 pontos DraftKings) teria me qualificado para minha menor pontuação total na temporada passada, quando tive uma média de 139,67 pontos e só fiquei abaixo de 100 uma vez.
Como todo relógio quebrado acerta duas vezes por dia, não foi tão ruim. Eu estava certo em avaliar que o QB novato Jayden Daniels do Commanders seria o melhor valor em sua posição. Daniels produziu 28,16 pontos em um investimento de $ 5.700 principalmente com base na força de suas 88 jardas corridas e dois TDs no chão.
O recebedor do Buccaneers, Chris Godwin (US$ 5.800), também teve um dia sólido para mim contra Washington, convertendo todos os seus oito alvos em recepções para 83 jardas e um TD, agindo como uma espécie de pilha contrária com Daniels.
O resto, como dizem, não foi nada bom.
No entanto, um lembrete valioso: um QB de dupla ameaça, capaz de marcar vários TDs corridos — como Daniels ou Josh Allen na semana passada — nem sempre traz consigo jogadores que recebem passes.
Na Semana 1, incluí Terry McLaurin na minha pilha com Daniels e Godwin, e ele teve apenas duas recepções para 17 jardas em quatro alvos (provavelmente porque Daniels correu com a bola 16 vezes).
Algo para se pensar quando você estiver considerando a correlação ao montar sua escalação.

Programação da Semana 2
QB: Lamar Jackson, Ravens ($ 7.700)
O MVP é caro, o que deve suprimir sua propriedade.
RB: Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks ($ 5.800)
Charbonnet será o burro de carga do time com Kenneth Walker fora devido a uma lesão oblíqua. Ele não é tão explosivo quanto Walker, mas tudo o que precisamos é de grande volume e alvos. Em duas partidas na temporada passada, Charbonnet teve uma média de 19 toques para 78,5 jardas e marcou um TD. Esses confrontos foram contra os 49ers e os Cowboys. Os Patriots têm uma defesa decente, mas não estão no nível dos Niners ou dos Cowboys.
RB: Jordan Mason, 49ers ($ 5.200)
Mason correu por 147 jardas e um TD em 28 corridas (o maior número desde o ensino médio) contra os Jets na noite de segunda-feira com Christian McCaffrey fora devido a uma lesão na panturrilha e no tendão de Aquiles. Os Niners acabaram de colocar McCaffrey na reserva de lesionados. Não conto nada que os Vikings fizeram contra os Giants na semana passada, mas sua defesa terrestre também foi boa na temporada passada, permitindo a menor taxa de corrida explosiva e a oitava menor jarda após contato por tentativa. Mais uma vez, o volume é a chave aqui. Mason pegou todas as corridas de running back de San Francisco na Semana 1 e correu uma rota em 60 por cento das tentativas de passe de Brock Purdy. Ele terminará com mais de uma recepção esta semana se correr tantas rotas novamente. Os Vikings fazem blitz muito, então seu total pode ser impulsionado pelo jogo de tela e check-downs.
WR: Chris Godwin, Buccaneers ($ 6.000)
Godwin liderou Tampa Bay em participação de alvos de primeira leitura (29 por cento), alvos por rota percorrida, recepções e jardas após seu muito alardeado retorno ao slot na Semana 1. Os Lions lutaram muito para conter Cooper Kupp em sua abertura, permitindo que ele produzisse 14 recepções em 21 alvos (!) para 110 jardas e um TD. Godwin apresenta um conjunto de habilidades semelhante ao de Kupp.
WR: Malik Nabers, Giants ($ 5.900)
Nabers terminou como WR32 em formatos PPR em sua estreia na NFL. Nada mal. Não é ótimo, mas certamente melhor do que a revelação de Marvin Harrison Jr. em Buffalo. Este é o confronto perfeito para o dinâmico recebedor novato mostrar seu talento se Daniel Jones conseguir alvos capturáveis para ele. Os Commanders jogaram cobertura de zona 73 por cento do tempo na semana passada. Nabers pegou quatro de suas cinco recepções contra zona na Semana 1.
WR: Demarcus Robinson, Rams ($ 4.000)
Puka Nacua sofreu uma torção no PCL contra Detroit e LA o colocou no IR. Tanto Robinson quanto Tyler Johnson ($ 3.300) se apresentaram depois que Nacua se machucou — ambos receberam sete alvos. Robinson é meu alvo preferido dos dois, terminando forte na temporada passada como o WR12 em formatos PPR seus últimos cinco jogos da temporada regular. No ano passado, os Cardinals permitiram o terceiro maior número de pontos PPR por alvo para wide receivers de perímetro e não mudou muito. Pivotar para Johnson e economizar $ 700 também faria sentido se você estiver tentando calçar outro jogador em outro lugar na sua escalação.
TE: Mark Andrews, Ravens ($ 5.000)
Isaiah Likely enlouqueceu contra os Chiefs, mas não há necessidade de fugir de Andrews como se ele fosse o Hindenburg. A menos que Likely tenha apagado a memória de Lamar Jackson, Andrews ainda será uma grande parte do ataque de passe de Baltimore daqui para frente. Os Raiders utilizaram cobertura de alta única em 53,8 por cento de seus snaps defensivos na Semana 1. No ano passado, Andrews foi o segundo no time em participação de alvos (18,5 por cento) e participação de primeira leitura (20,3 por cento) contra uma alta única, de acordo com FantasyPros.
FLEX: Garrett Wilson, Jets ($ 7.100)
Muitos vão se afastar de Wilson, esperando que ele seja ofuscado por L’Jarius Snead, mas dinheiro não gera dinheiro e espero uma boa performance de Aaron Rodgers e companhia depois que eles passaram vergonha em San Francisco no Monday Night Football.
DST: Indianapolis Colts ($ 3.300)
Indy tem um confronto importante contra Malik Willis, que fará sua primeira partida como titular desde 2022. Willis tem uma porcentagem de conclusão de 52,2 com 350 jardas, nenhum touchdown e três interceptações em 12 jogos na carreira.
